About This Site

This site exists for one practical reason: picking a food tour in Vienna is harder than it should be. There are 33 tours across five categories, from Naschmarkt walks and coffeehouse visits to Heuriger wine tastings and strudel cooking classes, and the differences between them are easy to miss. We put them side by side so you can compare duration, price, category and operator at a glance before booking anything.

Tours Covered

Thirty-three tours sit on this site, and nothing else does. Twelve are food walks and street food tours, three focus on coffeehouses and cake, three cover the Naschmarkt and other markets, eleven run as Heuriger, wine and beer tastings, and four are cooking classes. For every tour we republish the from-price, the duration, the operator, and the review score alongside its review count. Prices run from $14.80 to $226.51, and all 33 tours publish a from-price. Sort by category, price or rating and compare like with like.

How We Compare

The comparisons pull only from the published tour listings and from the Vienna Tourist Board, which documents what makes a genuine Heuriger: wine from its own vineyards, pine bushes at the door, and an Ausg'steckt sign showing it is open. When a detail is not on a listing, we say so rather than guess, and every tour here names its operator. Numbers shown are the numbers on the listing, nothing added.

Where The Details Come From

Tour details, prices, ratings and review counts come straight from each live booking page. Background that shapes a tour, like the Vienna Tourist Board's account of Heuriger culture and its recognition alongside Viennese coffee house culture as intangible heritage, comes from wien.info pages we cite alongside the claim. Where an official source could not confirm a figure, we leave it out. Nothing here is padded with invented stats.

Paid When You Book

Every tour link here points to a live booking page where your reservation is made directly with the operator. Book a Naschmarkt walk, a strudel class or a Heuriger tasting through one of those links and the price stays exactly what it would be otherwise. Afterward the booking service pays this site a referral fee. That fee funds the site. It never changes what you pay, and operators cannot pay for position. How tours rank comes from what the tours offer, not from any commercial arrangement.
